Our business is an essential one…

We are working with PEOPLE and with MUSIC.

We have all experienced music in our own ways. . . at times it brings to each
and every one of us a sense of comfort, a flood of memories, and exclamation of
life, an outreach for the future or a comment on the past. It allows us to
celebrate our commonness, stand in awe of genius. . . and to strive for self-expression.

The people who walk through our doors are like us. They have a need to become
more involved in music. . . to experience more of that magic and perhaps to pass
it on to others. They walk through our door with a dream. Our goal should be to
identify that dream and then satisfy that person’s needs by providing them with
the tools and the opportunities to make and enjoy music. Our rewards will come
from giving our customers more than just a good price; we should strive to give
them something of ourselves, and just maybe, a piece of their dream.
The retail music business is not an easy one. It is a challenging career for
those with ambition, with a willingness to work, to study, and to accept
responsibilities; and for those who keep sight of dreams, it affords many
